linens by Rachel Castle
One of my biggest pleasures is climbing into a bed with clean good quality sheets. It’s just one of those things that I personally love to indulge in and Rachel Castledesigns bed linens that don’t disappoint! I love the way she plays with pops of color on white in a whimsy manner. They make a bed pretty darn fun to look at, like art. And speaking of art, that painting is her work too. Amazing right! I would love to hang one of her pieces on my gallery wall that’s still a work in progress.
Here are some of my favorite paintings and prints she has created…

I’m starting to pack my bags for Palm Springs. I leave Thursday for a weekend getaway and can’t wait to enjoy the sunshine and lounge by the pool. With summer almost in full swing, I’m sure many of you are doing similar warm weather vacations. Some of my must haves for some fun in the sun…
01| A chambray top and white tank – both basics that can pair well with any outfit or even double as cover ups02| a fun swim suit 03| a cute pair of sandals either with a small heel or as a flat – they are comfortable yet stylish and breathable for those higher temperatures04| nail polish – open toe shoes mean a nice pedicure is definitely required so pack a bright shade. Summer is always a great time to experiment with fun colors.
05| a basic maxi skirt or dress – easy and comfy!
I was lucky enough to getaway to Palm Springs this past weekend for my birthday and stayed at the La Quinta Resort. Life has been pretty busy lately so getting the opportunity to do absolutely nothing but lounge in the sun by the pool was pure luxury for me. It gave me the chance to reflect and gain a fresh perspective on what I want my focus to be on in the future.
I’m sure you have noticed that I have been a little m.i.a. lately and I really want to apologize for that. I love blogging and try to get it in when I can but having a full time job where I average about 10 work hours a day plus commute makes it a little difficult. I know a lot of you out there are in similar situations and rock it and I would love to hear some tips on how you manage to balance it all. If you have any tools you love to use I would love to read about them in the comments! One thing I know for sure is that creating is where my passions lie and I’m dying to get into a routine that allows me to create original content for you guys. I have been collecting inspiration and pinning a lot of images that stimulate me creatively so I’m looking forward to the upcoming months. I know it might start off sporadically but I promise good things will come.
Hope you all had a great weekend!
Hey guys! Here are a few stylish finds that have caught my eye this week. How fun are all these prints! I have been really into using totes lately because I carry my laptop with me everyday to and from work and I am loving the leather handles and tassels on this one. And how about those accessories!! The bobbi sets by Bando would be great for summer, don’t ya think? I want all of them!
I’m headed to Palm Springs in two weeks and I’m looking forward to getting some sun and lounging by the pool. I’m in need of a new swimsuit and I’ve always been a bikini kind of girl, but these one pieces are making me want to convert.
Some spring days require an easy laid back outfit. These finds paired with white skinny jeans would be a cute ensemble don’t yah think!

Accessories!!! I love them. They can really make an outfit. I like them either bright and statement making or neutral and classic. Here’s a look at a few that caught my eye this week.
It is evident here, here, and here that I like stripes. Check out these cool finds that only add to my obsession.
I have really been eyeing pastels lately (evident here and here). There is something about these shades that just seem so feminine and flirty. I have been noticing some great finds popping up at my favorite sites and find myself revisiting some old favorites, like my Domino book that has found its way onto my nightstand yet again. With all these light weight fabrics, dreamy colors, and gloomy weather outside, its no wonder that I am sitting here longing for spring.
I love a slingback heel. They are so easy to just slip on an go. Perfect for a day on the run. Here are a few I have my eye on.
